the hair over your shoulder, the hand grasping the chair top, the hunch of your left shoulder indicating the lean into the lens... the intent to share, these things are sexy. the fact of the focus upon your parts and not your face, your eyes, your being, the things of you that indicate your uniqueness, the things of you that are sexy... these things are not.

your openness with your stitches, your pensive, sometimes angry face, the strobe of the camera as you defy your own fear that perhaps, just perhaps, your inner voice whispering doubt is right... these things are sexy.

these things are strong and beautiful and valuable and worthwhile and loveable. these are the things that are sexy. they are sexy in ways that breasts and vaginas can never be. they are imbued with their attractiveness because they are the expression of your presence in the world. you. they are sexy because they are you.

the cleavage sags. skin stretches. bodies lose form and wither. that which is you, that which is sexy and good and beautiful and precious and loveable and worthwhile and lovely precisely as it is... that is what rests behind those breasts, under that skin, and perhaps you have not heard it enough... so i am telling it to you.
